I used to describe Cherry Bakewell as my little velcro dog because she never left my side. I lost her in September to a short illness, she was only 7 at the time, and it's been difficult not having her ever since. I received my necklace this morning, black and gold because Cherry was black and tan, and I am so pleased with it its beautiful! Now I'll have something that I can wear forever, that will remind me of all the good times I had with my little best friend. My little velcro dog always with me.
